This is my entry for the Final Fantasy VIII Contest. The creature is a GF that we had to design and, of course, that is Squall standing next to it. The creature does not have a name as of yet, but the story is that Squall was walking along and he heard some noises in a near by cave. He goes in, and to his surprise, finds this GF, chained up. "I will offer you my powers if you set me free." Squall's not sure what to make of this creature. "It was chained up for some reason, right? Is it safe to set it free?" Squall thinks to himself. As he contemplates what to do, a hord of monsters enter the cave. Traped and out numbered, Squall has no other choice but to free the GF and use his assistance. This image is the victory poses after they survive the battle.

This image still has some work to be done. I wanted the scene to be inside of a cave but I ran out of time, inspriation, and talent! But it is good enough for now to make the deadline for the contest. Hope everyone enjoyed! =^_^=
